Responsibility
is held by people
Our team brings together investment experience, operational understanding, and deep familiarity with the places we invest in. We work alongside partners who share our standards, our patience, and our long-term view.
Alignment is built, governed, and sustained over time.
Stewards of long-term ownership
Vocifer is led and guided by individuals with experience across investment, tourism, and conservation in Africa. The team combines institutional discipline with an on-the-ground perspective, allowing decisions to be made with context, care, and accountability.
Robert Ball
Founder
Robert brings together a background in finance and general commerce with deep experience in tourism and conservation. His time guiding at Londolozi Private Game Reserve shaped a lasting connection to the conservation development model on which Londolozi was founded: care of the land, care of the people, and care of the wildlife.
This principle informs his leadership of Vocifer’s investment direction, capital allocation, and long- term ownership approach.
Luleka Masinda
Chairperson of Vocifer
Luleka is a Chartered Accountant and an accomplished entrepreneur with over twenty years of experience across financial services, retail, and banking. She has built, grown, and exited multiple businesses, bringing both institutional discipline and a practical understanding of what ownership demands over time.
Her connection to Africa’s landscapes is personal and long-held, shared with her family and carried into her role as Chairperson of Vocifer’s board. The belief that investment returns and community wellbeing are not separate pursuits is central to Vocifer’s philosophy, and to her own.
Monde Nkosi
Director of Vocifer
Monde is an investor with experience across public and private markets. He is a Partner at Value Capital Partners, managing over R15 billion, and previously served as Senior Associate at FFL Partners, a San Francisco-based private equity firm. He has held board positions across five Nasdaq- and JSE-listed companies, is an Archbishop Tutu Leadership Fellow, and serves on the board of the Centre for Development & Enterprise.
Through Vocifer, he brings institutional discipline and a personal commitment to preserving Africa’s landscapes for future generations while creating employment and opportunity in the present.
Aligned capital, shared horizon
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. Vocifer firmly believes in the power of partnerships and intends on co-investing in assets with like-minded industry experts.
Parktown Capital
As a strategic, founding partner and investor in Vocifer, Parktown Capital adds governance depth, institutional discipline, and long-term capital alignment.
operating partners
Vocifer intends to partner with experienced operators who bring local knowledge, operational excellence, and continuity to the assets we own. These relationships are long-term by design, structured to align performance, stewardship, and ownership responsibility.
Strong partnerships require structure
Clear governance, defined roles, and shared objectives ensure disciplined decision-making and sustained value creation. Vocifer remains actively involved through oversight, while operators focus on execution.
This balance allows assets to perform and endure.
Enduring ownership depends on trust, clarity, and long-term alignment. Vocifer works with people prepared to carry that responsibility over time.
